 The
Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (or “ODPM”) was the office of
Government that previously had a wide range of responsibilities
including, most significantly here, that of Fire within England and
Wales.However, following
the governmental "reshuffle" in May 2006, the ODPM has now been
succeeded by the Department for Communities and
Local Government (“DCLG”).
